Information

Sniff the mountain air at 4000 meters?
Have you ever dreamed of standing on a four-thousand-meter peak?

The Allalin is one of the easiest 4,000-meter peaks, making it perfect for aspiring mountaineers or those new to alpine adventures.

With an experienced and charismatic mountain guide, the Allalin is relatively easy to climb with a little stamina and surefootedness. However, a solid basic fitness level is also essential for one of the “easiest” 4000-meter peaks in order to experience the tour safely and enjoyably.

The ascent
The mountain railroads take us to the Mittelallalin at 3500m. The tour starts here and leads over easy, magnificent glacier worlds to the Feejoch 3807m. We take a break there after about 1.30 hours. The ascent continues over snow fields, glaciers and short rocky sections to the summit. In just over two hours, you and your mountain guide will reach the majestic summit of the Allalinhorn – without any climbing passages. Instead, you can enjoy the ascent to the full while a breathtaking panorama unfolds before you. An experience that lets you immerse yourself in the fascination of the high Alps without having to overcome any technical challenges.

At the summit
Enjoy the fantastic view – you’ve done a great job! Capture this moment, take pictures that will preserve it forever. Let yourself celebrate and feel the pride, because this summit is now yours.

The descent
The way back follows the same route, and the descent is significantly shorter at just over an hour.
Even a seemingly ‘easy’ 4000-meter peak is always a challenge. The utmost caution and respect are therefore essential, regardless of the level of difficulty.

NOTE:
With 1 overnight stay in the Saas Valley, the mountain railroads and buses are included!!!
Not included! The mountain railway section with the Metro Alpin from Felskinn to Mittel Allalin.
